Course objectives
Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment). Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.

  • Present perfect simple I (just already, not yet)
  • Present perfect simple II (How long …?, for, since), Distinction between present perfect simple and past simple)
  • Future – will, going to, present continuous
  • Nouns – plural, countability, quantifiers, articles
  • Adverbs and adjectives
  • Passive in present, past and future simple
  • Relative clauses
  • Modals and conditional mood (would, should, could
  • Conditional clauses 0,1,2
Assessment methods (in Czech)
Předmět je ukončen zápočtem, pro nějž je třeba získat 100 b. 20 b. za docházku, 30 b. za plnění průběžně zadávaných úkolů a za aktivitu v semináři, 20 b. za průběžný test, 30 b. za zápočtový test.
