Course objectives
Decision-making and Management in the Public Sector (RVVS) The course is focused on gaining practical skills necessary for preparing and implementing decision-making, especially in the public sector. The first part studies in great detail the theory of the decision-making process, and simultaneously provides the opportunity to practice the skill of defining problems and preparing the decision-making process up to the inspection stage. The second part deals with decision-making methods, which are trained in making decisions about the public sector, which are typical for its functioning. The third part is oriented on specific features of decisions made by public choice and on both theoretical and practical issues of public audit. The method of case studies is used throughout the course. Credit requirements: active participation in seminars; undertaking a decision-making project. Examination: oral.
