Basic knowledge of linear algebra, algebra and cryptography. It is recommended to register IV054 first.

Course objectives
The aim of this course is to extend knowledge of cryptography introduced in the course IV054 through lectures on selected topics. Active participation of students is expected.
Syllabus
  • Concrete topics are selected each term according to contemporary trends and interest of students. They may include e.g. unconditionally secure digital pseudosignatures, message authentication, anonymous message transfer and other.
Literature
  • Research papers provided during the lectures.
Assessment methods
Learning and presentation of a selected topic within appx. 40 minutes talk.
