Course objectives
The main objective of the course is to present the current aspects of the computerization of society and the possibilities that it brings in the assitive technologies. The course also includes active work of students including presentations and disscussions to the relevant topics and also active participatin on relevant developed projects.

  • Aspects of computerization;
  • Information technologies in social context;
  • Sociální sítě;
  • Accessibility of Internet and information technologies as seen from the point of view of social structure of the society;
  • Modeling society and its social structure;
  • Game theory and modeling conflicts in society;
  • The communication based on information technologies;
  • Social aspects of information systems proposal;
  • Dialogue systems and their social impact;
  • Processing social information;
  • Asistive technologies and their social impact;
  • Computerized support of visually impaired people;
  • The course also includes active work including presentations and disscussions to the relevant topics and also active participatin on the relevant developed projects.

Assessment methods
To pass the course, the student is assumed to take part in the seminar, in the form which is consulted in the beginning of the seminar. The course can be passed both with credit or colloquium. The more specific requirements for obtaining credit or colloquium are specified at the beginnig of the seminar.
