- Course objectives
- Seminar focuses on practical aspects of issues discussed in PB153 (OS). The objective is to allow students to learn details of operating systems that are useful for development of system tools as well as of other applications. Students will be able to use basic resources of operating systems: kernel interface, system calls, IPC, process priorities, planning algorithms, processes and threads, access control, I/O operations, filesystems in Windows-based and Linux-based systems.

- Active participation at the seminars is mandatory. Homeworks are assigned every week. To pass the subject 70% of the points from homeworks must be collected.
