- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to teach students how to either (seminar group 01):
• work independently on audiovisual projects (film festival, e-learning materials, documentaries)
• mentor audiovisual projects
or (seminar group 02):
• read research articles
• participate in scientific research - Learning outcomes
- Students will be able to either (seminar group 01):
• participate in multimedia production
• cooperate on the organizational and creative aspects of creating short films
or (seminar group 02):
• read research articles
• communicate in a team
Students will also improve their soft skills. - Syllabus
- Audiovisual section (seminar group 01):
- • available video recording technology for low-cost production of short films; practical recommendations for documentation and cinematography
- • available audio capture technology; practical recommendations for documentation and sound engineering
- • available photo technology; practical recommendations for document processing, scanning, and documentary photography
- • available word processing technology; practical recommendations for document processing and working with large text databases
- Research section (seminar group 02):

- Teaching methods
- The teaching method are personal meetings, presentations, and discussions about the organizational, creative, and research topics of the LEMMA lab.
- Assessment methods
- The condition for a successful completion of the course is either the realization of a small project (seminar group 01):
• mentoring of the group responsible for the organization of the faculty festival of short films
• reporting on a topic related to the PV110 (in autumn) and PV113 (in spring) courses
or (seminar group 02):
• conducting an experiment in one of the research areas of the LEMMA lab - Language of instruction
