- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to: - use basic psychodiagnostic tools for basic diagnosticts of sportsmen PE teachers and trainers - analyse psychological problems in sport performance - use regulatory measures for regulation of pre-start state and psychological failure - use principles of mental hygiene of sportsmen in order to maitain the balance of his/her personality - the phenomenon of sport has been strongly transformed during past two or three decades, mostly as a consequence of the process of comercionalization and medialization of elite professional sports, mostly in global extend. Main objective of the lesson is to properly understand mutural relations of sport and society in local, regional and global context

- Sports Psychology: 1. The system of sport psychology, historical development, contemporary status of sports psychology, sports typology 2. Personality of a sportsman - abilities in relation to sport activity 3. Diagnostics of sportsman´s personality - temperament, performance motivation, attention, concentracion, aggresion, aspiration atc. 4. Pre-start, start and competition states, psychological failure 5. Regulatory measures and priciples of regulation of sportsmen 6. Sport and mental health, mental hygiene of sportsmen 7. Psychomotoricity and his use in work with sportsmen Sports Sociology: 1. Sport - socio cultural phenomenon, top elite sport versus leisure sports 2. Teoretical approaches and research methods to describe and unerstand behaviour and social interactions as they occur in partikularg social and cultural contexts. 3. Sozialization via sport 4. Global aspects of sport 5. Fascination with sports, sport mobility 6. Theoretical approache comercionalization in sport, violence in sport 7. Hostilita in sport
