Course objectives
The key objectives of the course are: understanding the theoretical principles of diagnosis of motor skills, learning practical diagnostic tools for testing motor skills and basic statistical processing of results methods, understanding the root causes of performance differences between men and women, older and younger generations, etc., understand the process ontogeny of human locomotion.
Learning outcomes
Student is able to name and categorize key factors in the area of motor abilities and skils, present and evaluate selected topics, argument and answer questions during discussion.
Syllabus
  • The structure and examples of motor skills tests - repetition of undergraduate study. New and less known (specific) motor tests. Test battery (and foreign) and the tolling in physical education and sports practice. Procedures for evaluation of test results of individual student test profiles, athletes. Scaling in the diagnosis of motor skills, types of scales and their use. Fundamentals of sport anthropometry, examples of methods, examples and usage in sports practice. Ontogenesis of man.
