- Physiotherapy (programme FSpS, B-SZ) (2)
- Course objectives
- The subject "Clinical Kinesiology III." follows antecedent subject of "Clinical Kinesiology I. and II." focusing on trunk area of human body. The main aim is to understand relations within kinesiology on the local level of trunk as well as its impact on lower and upper extremities. Active and passive segmental stability is explained in detail as well as clinical reasoning of functional and structural pathology. Succesful students will be able to apply acquired theoretical knowledge in practical diagnostics and therapy and to further develop their skills in the following course "Fundamentals of diagnostic and therapy of locomotor system disorders I. - IV.
- Syllabus
- Kinesiology axial system - motion segment, the axial components of the system (supporting, fixing, hydrodynamic, kinetic, kinematic), stability of the segment and sector. Kinesiology individual sectors of the axial system (upper cervical sector, sector lower cervical, upper thoracic sector, the sector lower thoracic, upper lumbar sector, lower lumbar sector) - functional significance, passive and active stability of the motion segment, clinical aspects, functional and structural pathology of areas. Kinesiology chest and abdominal wall - Kinematics of the chest and abdomen, thoracic kinematics sectors, diaphragm, effect on respiration - clinical significance, clinical aspects, functional and structural pathology of this area. Kinesiology basic postural mechanisms at the level of the motor system and dynamic movement patterns.
