The course is geared for obligatory PE only. Students have to be able to swim.

Course objectives
The main goals of the educational process involve: - the improvement of the locomotive abilities and fitness - the impact on the positive approach towards sports activities considered as the protection against conflicts, civilization diseases and stress - the support of students healthy lifestyle Course is divided to two parts - theorethicl and practise. t the end of the course, students should be ble to use basic freediving technique as well as SCUBA diving. In practise part will develop diving with diving mask, fins and snorkel, how to move in water effectively. Also security procedures is practise largely. After course finishing can students continue to earn international diving licence for scuba diving to depth of 18m OWD on payment.
Syllabus
  • Theory:
  • equipment and technique of breath hold diving
  • basic sefaty rules of both freediving and scubadiving
  • Practise:
  • kinds and using of ABC (diving mask, fins and snorkel)
  • manipulating with SCUBA
  • Swimming pool:
  • kicks with fins
  • clearing mask underwater
  • equalizing pressure in middle ears
  • stretching nd breathing technique for breath hold
  • training static and dynamic apnea discipline (swimming on distance with fins and staying underwater on one breath (2minutes is minimum) etc.

Tutorial assessed with a credit The credit is given to students for the attendance of a certain quality: more than 50% of the direct attendance is required - 1 possible absence without apology - 2 more possible absences with the list of apology - 3 more lessons can be compensated during the examination time - student musí mít více než 50% přímou účast na výuce
