Regular enrollment of the subject and successful completion of so-called prerequisites in previous studies at FSpS (Anatomy and Physiology). - Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is only offered to the students of the study fields the course is directly associated with.
- fields of study / plans the course is directly associated with
- Fitness and Personal Trainer (programme FSpS, B-OKT) (2)
- Regeneration and Nutrition in Sport (programme FSpS, B-TVS) (2)
- Referee (programme FSpS, B-TVS) (2)
- Coaching (programme FSpS, B-TVS) (2)
- Course objectives
- The student will be able to understand the physiological processes in the organism during the sporting load and then after the physical activity. The graduate is able to explain logically and materially the structural and functional changes that occur in the organism due to adaptive mechanisms in response to a specific type of regular exercise load.
- Learning outcomes
- Graduates of the course will be able to:
1.Pacify the body's response to the load for specific groups of sports disciplines
2. Identify the mechanisms of adaptation processes
3. Analyze workload and load stress tests to determine the degree of stress and thus prevent the development of pathological fatigue. - Syllabus
- Syllabus of lectures:
- - Characteristics of sport disciplines (type of load, duration of performance, load intensity). Sports Performance Factors.
- - Physiological principles of training.
- - Effect of genetics on performance. determinants of sport performance.
- - Stress response (control systems). Disturbance of homeostasis. Acidobasic equilibrium - stress acidosis. Response of the organism to different types of body load.
- - Metabolic performance characteristics (metabolic cover, energy sources, energy supply).
- - Functional Performance Characteristics (HR, VO2, LA, ..).
- - Characteristics of the athlete (load test to maximum: HR max, VO2 max, Wingate test: P max, AC, fatigue index, somatic characteristics).
- - Adaptation process. Regulation of adaptation processes. Adaptation mechanisms.
- - Specific adaptations of the organism to the burden (speed, force, endurance, force endurance, speed-force, coordinating aesthetic, combat, sports games).
- - Physiological differences during stress response and adaptation in relation to ontogenesis.
- - Influence of the environment on performance (cold, heat, pressure). Acclimatization.
- - Desecration process. Detrain.
- - Specifics of female response (menstrual cycle, pregnancy, childbirth, puerperium).
