- Course objectives
- The main objectives of the course are the following:
- to introduce the characteristics of core/deep stabilisation system of the spine
- to make a list of strengthening exercises with the body weight - list of exercises with aids - balanced equipment (fitballs, overballs, bosu), roller, elastic band, flowtonic, towels - Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to:
- to describe main part of the deep stabilisation system
- description of different methods used for strengthening of the deep stabilization system (Dynamic neuromuscular stabilization, Pilates method, Spiral stabilization….)
- to create a list of strengthening exercises (body weight and aids)
- to apply these exercises in practice. - Syllabus
