Course objectives
This course will teach you to write press releases and speeches, understand how a political campaign is planned, conduct opposition research, and train a political candidate for coverage by print and television. It will focus heavily on practical research techniques used in a political campaign, the needs of television (the most effective and used media for political communication) and on the tools now available through new media.
