- Course objectives
- Students will gain understanding of the basic concepts of statistics, ability to apply statistics in different stages of quantitative social policy and social work research with focus on data analysis and interpretation. Next students will be strenghtened in their ability to work in groups as well as to oraly present gained knowledge.

- Teaching methods
- Students will learn selected methods to analyse data, in PC labs they will analyse data from the field of social policy and socialwork, they will learn SPSS statistical package. They will be encouraged to read and to work in groups.
