Course objectives
The main objective of course is to understand the basics of organizational environment and the principles of rational personal management. At the end of this course, students will be able to sensitively perceive organization from two basic perspectives. First, individuals as objects of organizational control and second, individuals as subjects of organizational relationship formation.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will be able:
- to identify and summarize general knowledge of HRM approaches and processes in work organizations in public as well as private sector
- to critically reflect current HRM concepts and methods in the field of 1) HR resourcing - recruitment, selection, 2) learning and development management and 3) performance and reward management
- to apply the theoretical knowledge into practice in assignment (case study). Students develop the strategy how to solve the particular problem in organization and how to achieve the relevant HR objective.

  • HRM policy, competency-based management.
  • Knowledge management, intellectual capital and its components, analysing roles, competencies and skills.
  • HR resourcing - planning, recruitment, selection process, outplacement

  • HR learning and development, learning organization, training processes and educational programs
