Course objectives (in Czech)
The course deals with the political, psychological and other impacts of the covid 19 pandemic on the Israeli society and its its approaches to facing this unusual challenge.
Learning outcomes (in Czech)
Students will gain knowledge from leading Israeli experts from many disciplines and areas of expertise. They will be able to understand the phenomenon of the C-19 pandemic from various angles, and lens of various disciplines.

  • 1. Preparedness for national crisis 2. Proffesionalism versus politics in dealing with national crises example: Corona in Israel 3. Psychological and Resilience aspects in Israel’s coping with the Covid-19 Pandemic 4. Decisions in an Epidemic Ecosystem 5. Communal and societal aspects of Covid 19 crisis 6. CORONA crisis management 7. COVID 19  vaccinations – the science and the hype 8. Human rights in presence of pandemic, a “gate” to authoritarian regime?
