Course objectives
The city of Zlín has a unique history in the Czech context. Its long history is covered mainly by what happened here during the 20th century. It grew up as the factory city of the Bata company, which influenced its material and social structure. The course aims to actively cooperate with the authors of the web portal zam.zlin.eu, which maps this specific history of Zlín. The web intends to document the little-processed period of the second half of the 20th century with the help of interviews with those who worked and lived in the city and influenced its shape. The course will take the form of a creative workshop, the output of which will be an interview with a selected informant. It will have the form of consultations, the content of which will be a presentation of the context of Zlín's development and the possibility of an interview in the context of online platforms (2 lectures), one obligatory collective and then individual consultation of the output. Respondents will be selected in advance by ZAM, but there are no limits to students' own initiative. Selected interviews will be published on ZAM. Students will be reimbursed for any travel expenses, and publication of the interview will be honored.

Students will be trained to prepare for the interview, conduct it and ideally publish it on a dedicated web portal.
