- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge and acquire skills that will enable them (1) to understand the key processes and circumstances that are related to the formation and implementation of public policy as a theoretical discipline and influence its outputs and results, (2) to identify, analyse and evaluate these processes and the circumstances of partial public and social policies in practise in specific states and regions, or at the transnational level, and (3) to increase their potential to adequately hold and manage administrative, professional, and managerial roles after graduation in practise.
- Learning outcomes
- After successfully completing the course, students will be able to: (1) understand the public political process and its individual phases, within which partial public policies are created, implemented, and evaluated, (2) know specific theories and models of the public political process and be able to use them to understand and analyses of partial public policies, (3) be able to analyse partial public policies in their specific context, identify their strengths and weaknesses, and, if necessary, propose adequate steps to improve them.
