- Course objectives
- This course aims to equip students with the knowledge of contents, mission and basic methods of health care as well as with the knowledge of measuring and evaluation of health condition of the population. By the end of this course students should be able to: define, calculate and interpret the basic indicators of the health condition of the population and use them for the evaluation of the health condition of the population; define and choose appropriate indicators of morbidity, calculate them and interpret the obtained results; assess health risks and propose suitable measures to improve the health of the population; on the basis of examples of identification and on the basis of dealing with health problems should have the basis of statistical and systemic thinking in health care; the basis of methods of critical appraisal of population studies results and consequent organizational measures.
- Learning outcomes
- By the end of this course students should be able to:

- Lectures, seminars and reading. Students are preparing continuously according to the theme and literature in the syllabus. The seminar paper is the precondition for participation at the examination. The exam is oral.
