- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to provide a framework for the student to deliver an international conference paper and demonstrate the relevant basic research skills. The parameters of the presentation are specified below under Assessment methods.
- Learning outcomes
- The student is able to independently present the results of their research at an international conference in the field after completing the course. The output of the course is the delivery of the conference paper.

- Individual consultations.
- Assessment methods
- Credits are awarded for an oral presentation (not a poster) at a international conference, which needs to be evidenced by submitting the text of the paper (or the ppt) and a confirmation of attendance of the conference. In case of a multiple authorship, the student must be the first author. In the case of co-authoring a paper with two authors as the second author, the performance is evaluated as a 50% fulfilment of the given requirement (i.e. the student must deliver two papers, or three papers when co-authoring a paper with three authors). The student must prove their attendance of the conference by submitting the conference program or a written confirmation of attendance and the text of the paper.
