- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to introduce students to more advanced qualitative research methods in social work. The course prepares students to use qualitative research methods, including the use of appropriate theories, research plans, methods of data collection and data analysis methods.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing this course, students will master the following competencies:
Understands the theoretical and methodological perspectives of qualitative research in social work.
They are able to apply qualitative research methods in the context of social work.
They are able to use the results of qualitative research to improve social work practice.
Understands how qualitative methods can be applied in social work and public policy research. - Syllabus
