- Course objectives
- The goal of the course is to develop the methodological skills of the students, potential of their application and capacity of individual and team research work in applied social research, social policy, social work, employment policy.
- Learning outcomes
- Learning outcomes after completing the course the students - is able to apply the general knowledge in empirical research - able to identify the partial research task within a broader research project - able of targeted empirical research - able to formulate the empirical findings - able to formulate policy recommendations
- Syllabus
- Seminars: Students subscribe themselves to the research topic of Research Institute of Labour and Social Affairs. First seminar - introduction into research, reccommended literature. Second seminar - introduction by team leaders into the specific research task. Third seminar - proposal of the individual task for the student, elaboration Other seminars - consultations on research task of the student Research report cca 20-30 pages and enclosures.
