Course objectives (in Czech)
Students will get the basic theoretical grounding for writing several journalistic genres. The goal is to offer a supportive and strictly learning-based environment for trial-test writing with heavy feedback. The course is designed to be inherently practical and demands an active approach from the students and a willingness to learn.
Learning outcomes (in Czech)
Student will have an initial understanding of theoretical grounds for writing op-eds and feature stories;
Student will have knowledges on different ways of storytelling;
Student will know the routines of investigative journalism;
Student will have practice of creating versatile journalistic content;
Students will have experience working in a team.

lectures and class discussions, also group projects
Assessment methods (in Czech)
keeping up with the tasks and deadlines, the reporting’s quality is being assessed (how much does it reflect understanding theory); to pass the course, participants have to present homework at the deadline. If deadlines are missed and work not done according to the rules without proper explanation, then some of the participants have to take an exam. Pass/Not passed system
