Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce students to more advanced qualitative research methods in social work. The course prepares students to use qualitative research methods, including the use of appropriate theories, research plans, methods of data collection and data analysis methods.
Learning outcomes
After completing this course, students will master the following competencies: Understands the theoretical and methodological perspectives of qualitative research in social work.
They are able to apply qualitative research methods in the context of social work.
They are able to use the results of qualitative research to improve social work practice.
Understands how qualitative methods can be applied in social work and public policy research.

Essay and Presentation of a Selected Methodological Procedure and its Application in SPR: 2 credits (50-60 hours)
Literature review and research (20 hours)
Writing the essay (15-20 hours)
Preparing and creating the presentation (15-20 hours)

Four Interim Tests for Each Module: 2 credits (60 hours)
Each test requires 15 hours of preparation, totaling 60 hours

Final Task: Research Project: 3 credits (75-90 hours)
Literature review and research (20-30 hours)
Designing methodology and data analysis (20-30 hours)
Drafting and completing the project (35-40 hours)
