Course objectives
The purpose of the course is to provide students with an insight into the content of human rights.
Learning outcomes
Students will understand the content of human rights.
Syllabus
  • 1) Organization of the course, 2) Prohibition of torture and inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment, 3) Development of international human rights law since 1945, universal and regional protection mechanisms, 4) Right to life, 5) Economic, social and cultural rights, 6) Protection of personal liberty, 7) Freedom of expression, 8) Equal treatment, 9) Fair trial, 10) Respect for private life, 11) Human rights and the situation in Ukraine.
