- Course objectives
- The task of the subject is to provide students fundamental knowledges in the field of international and non-international armed conflicts. Humanitarian law is divided into Geneva law and the Hague law. Geneva law governs the protection of victims of armed conflicts. The Hague law regulates ways and methods of war.
- Syllabus
- The definition of international humanitarian law;principles and rules; international and non-international armed conflicts and their definicions; states of the army and combatants;protection of wounded, shipwrecked persons, prisoners of war and civilian population; methods and ways of war
