- Course objectives
- The purpose of study is to provide general knowledge about the nature and functions of international intergovernmental organizations. The international comunity is organised throught processes of institutionalization.The member states get specific identities in international organizations which reduce transactional costs of multilateral diplomacy.

- 1. History of international organizations 2. Problems of legal personality 3. Interpretation of texts 4. Membership and representation 5. Organs of organizations 6. Acts of organs: their legal effect 7. Responsibility to and of international organizations 8. The liability of member states vis-á-vis third parties 9. Privileges and immunities 10. Amendment of constitutions 11. The peaceful settlement of disputes 12. Conclusions

- Assessment methods (in Czech)
- Lectures are held for a minimum of 5 students. With smaller number of students attending the course, lectures are replaced with tutorials. Reading list will be given by the course co-ordinator at the fist lecture or tutorial. The examination has a written and an oral part. Examination - credit requirements: 1. Written test 2.
