SOUHLAS
Basics of Public International Law.Perfect knowledge of both written and oral English, knowledge of second language is an advantage. Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Course objectives
The aim of this course is to prepare for the moot court competitions, mainly - TELDERS moot court competition or Jessup moot court competition, which are both the world's largest and most prestigious competitions. By working on a case-study, students should enhance not only their doctrinal knowledge, but also issue-spotting and analytical ability: skills necessary for all capable and thoughtful lawyers. This course will seek to explore the nexus between law and facts, theory and practice.

Teaching methods
class discussions, preparation of written pleadings, presentation of legal arguments in front of the jury (arguing both the applicant and respondent positions of the case)
Assessment methods
to prepare oral and written pleadings arguing both the applicant and respondent positions of the case. Presenting arguments before the jury of professionals at a national round (in case of the Jessup competition organized by White & Case). In case of winning a national round, advancing to present arguments at the White & Case International Rounds held every spring in Washington, D.C., or, in case of TELDERS moot court, advancing to The Hague (Peace Palace).
