Course objectives
By completing this course student will be able to understand the functioning of the insurance sector and will be oriented in the legal regulation of insurance.
Syllabus
  • Basic terminology in the area of insurance. Insurance sector. Hedge funds. Insurance Entities.
  • Legal regulation of the insurance industry and insurance.
  • Insurance branches. Insurance contract. Insurance portfolio. Insurance administration.
  • Technical reserves and financial positioning.
  • Delinquencies in the field of insurance industry.
