- Course objectives
- The course is a part of the topical complex Preparation of Dissertation Thesis III. Its purpose is to gather materials for key points of the dissertational thesis, research and elaboration of summary of attained level of knowledge. The specific content and objectives of the course and the resulting requirements for its completion are always based on the individual study plan and its semester content. The course is usually focused on the detailed solution of individual questions in relation to the chosen concept, taking into account the feedback received during the discussion in the previous semester. The aim is to progress through the dissertation chapters, as well as to obtain feedback on them and incorporate the comments received, thus developing the student's relevant skills.
- Learning outcomes
- The specific outcomes are always based on the individual study plan and its semester content. They are determined according to the principles set by the departmental board of the relevant programme. Unless otherwise stipulated by this procedure, outputs usually include: - progress in the preparation of individual chapters of the dissertation, possibly in connection with the preparation of partial publication outputs - obtaining feedback and possible modification of the text based on it - advanced knowledge of the current state of knowledge in the field of research focus based on the study of the literature - finding additional sources
- Syllabus
- The curriculum is prepared individually in agreement with the supervisor as part of the semester-long individual study plan. As a rule, it includes a detailed solution of individual questions in relation to the chosen concept, taking into account the feedback received during the discussion in the previous semester. Ongoing work on individual chapters of the dissertation is carried out, specific sub-topics are consulted, and the student actively seeks opportunities to gain further knowledge as well as feedback on the outputs. As far as possible, the student presents and publishes partial conclusions and responds to the received suggestions.
