Course objectives
The purpose of the course Insolvency Law I is to deepen the knowledge and orientation in the field of restructuring and insolvency law, the systemic integration of this branch of law into the legal system (including links with other branches of the law) and the understanding of its internal system at a level appropriate to the doctoral programme. The course also aims to provide students of the doctoral programme with up-to-date information and knowledge in the field of European restructuring and insolvency law.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should be able to explain the basic institutions and elements of restructuring and insolvency law and how they operate. They should also be able to explain the integration of restructuring and insolvency law into the legal system as a whole and be able to orientate themselves on the basic issues of European insolvency law.
