Předmětem studia tohoto předmětu je problematika soudní ochrany životního prostředí, resp. práva na příznivé životní prostředí v širším slova smyslu, zvlášť pak úloha soudů a jimi poskytované právní ochrany v případech, kdy primárně tuto ochranu zajišťují orgány veřejné správy.
