Course objectives
At the end of the course student should be able to record and interpret basic sources of law that is related to the Land Register. Student is able to describe the development of registration of real estate. Student is able to demonstrate the procedue at Land Register Office. Student is able to solve the practical cases from this area and can write basic legal instruments.
Syllabus
  • 1) Devolopment of real estate register in the Czech Republic - public register, land cadastres 2) Principals of present Cadastre of Real Estate 3) Strukture of Cadastre of Real Estate 4) Subject of register - registered real estates and legal relationships 5) Institutional structure of administration of Cadastre of Real Estate 6) Procedure before Cadastral Offices 7) Cadastre of Real Estate its relationship to land planning, to purpose built categorisation and to land modifications 8) Acces to cadastre information

Teaching methods
Exercising of basic concepts and institutes in relation to lectures, by solving of practical model situations and discussion. Student works with judicial decisions, legal regulations and other documents.
Assessment methods
Compulsory attendance at all seminars and written solutions of practical examples, which are assigned by the seminar tutor.
