- Course objectives
- The subject concetrates on social communication, styles of communication. It contains purposefully chosen general information of social communication, which targeted and systematized to be easily applied in practice. At the End of the course students should be able to understand and explain social comunication and work with infomation on styles of communication. Graduates of the course are able to reduce the communication difficulties. The course provides - ability to apply knowledge - ability to solve problems - capacity to adapt to new situations - general knowledge.
- Syllabus
- -Social communication, interpersonal communication,intrapersonal communication, verbal and non-verbal communication, styles of communication, feedback, interaction between media and the audience. -Spoken discourse and the basic of rhetoric from psychosocial point of view. -Speaker's personality and preparing a speech. -Principle of proper discussions, social conversation, trendy expressions and political correctness. -Communication in business environment. -Intercultural communication.

- The course is composed of lectures (12h) A final: Written examination (5 questions - minimum 50% correct answers) and oral examination - ballot 1 question and overview about next questions, minimum 60% correct answers.
