- Course objectives
- The aim is to develop understanding and critical thinking of peaceaful means of settlement of disputes in international law.
- Learning outcomes
- Doctoral student will enhance his or her level of argumentation concerning peaceful settlement of disputes in international law. He or she will also gain a better understanding of the strategy and importance of choice amongst various means of settlement of disputes in the concrete case.

- Self-study, consultation and discussion, problem-solving.
- Assessment methods
- 1. An essay of 10 pages (in English) concerning a recent trend or topic in the field of international dispute settlement. 2. Problem-solving: the proposal for resolution of a model or real international dispute or conflict. The text of 5 pages (in English).
