Course objectives
The course provides basic theoretical and practical knowledge of chosen sectors of public administration and their legal regulation.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the students who have succeeded: - have basic theoretical and practical knowledge of chosen sectors of public administration and their legal regulation - are able to explain connections and relationships between legal regulation of chosen sectors of public administration and general administration law - are able to administer legal rules in certain cases - are able to sustain chosen solution of the case study.
Syllabus
  • Basic terms and institutes from these branches of public administration: - internal administration (registries, permanent residence, birth numbers, identity cards, foreigner law and citizenship) - security administration (police administration) - cultural administration (especially monument care) - expropriation and construction legal institutes restricting property rights - traffic administration (especially the section of roads).

Teaching methods
Lectures. Support in the form of e-learning (interactive syllabus, testing using ROPs, ...).
Assessment methods
Writing and defence of seminar paper of 10-12 pages extent. If the epidemic situation so requires, the defense will take place remotely through MS Teams
