- Course objectives
- The objectives of the course are as follows: - to provide a space for students to obtain feedback on their dissertation work and current publication activities from persons other than the supervisor - to provide peer to peer feedback, developing the ability to give and receive constructive feedback - presentation of ongoing progress in the dissertation and publication process - motivation for ongoing creative activity during the course of study so that the student has something to present - mutual inspiration between students amongst each other, and across different (but similar) topics - sharing experiences and creative practices - complementary development of further knowledge and skills through follow-up discussions on individual papers Note: The course can be enrolled repeatedly, three times during the study (2nd 4. 6th semester)
- Learning outcomes
- Student thanks to the course: - receive feedback from persons other than the supervisor, which will enable them to improve their publication and dissertation outputs and further develop their creative skills - the experience of the peer to peer process will improve the giving and receiving of constructive feedback - will be more motivated to engage in ongoing creative activity during the course of their studies - gain an awareness of the publication and dissertation progress of other students with similar topics in the programme, including the perception of the feedback they receive, which can help with their own creative work - have the opportunity to share experiences and creative practices with other students and academic staff - gain further expertise through follow-up discussions on individual papers (depending on their topic)
