- The aim of the course is to provide a theoretical basis of construction law, including current changes. The main topics will be taught taking into account the process of ongoing public administration reforms. The course will focus on the explanation of the basic concepts of public construction law, the individual procedures of construction authorities under the Construction Act, as well as construction authorities, other parties to individual proceedings and administrative bodies carrying out activities in a given field within the framework of teaching.
- Learning outcomes
- After successful completion of the course, the student knows the basic theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of public construction law with a focus on processes conducted under the Construction Act, is able to explain the connections and relationships between construction proceedings and administrative proceedings, is able to appropriately apply legal regulations to various examples from practice, is able to propose solutions to individual specific case studies and is able to justify the selected solution of the case study.
- Syllabus
- The course focuses on explaining the various processes conducted under the Building Act. The distinction between private and public construction law and current sources of legislation are defined. Recodification of public construction law with a focus on processes under the Construction Act. Concepts and basic institutes of the Construction Act. Definition of the bodies administering the relevant area. Individual processes under the Construction Act.
