- Course objectives
- The subject is focused on interdisciplinar explanation of actual and substantial pathophysiological trends. A special attention will be given to explanation of multigenic backgroud of complex diseases.
- Syllabus
- Lectures (3x4 hrs) November 10, 2008 Genetic background of multifactorial diseases. November 24, 2008 Molecular biological methods and their actual importance in clinical diagnostics and therapy December 1, 2008 News in pathophysiology. The lectures will be always given at 13:00 (1:00 a.m.)at the Department of Pathophysiology, University Campus Bohunice, A18, Kamenice 5, 625 00 Brno, seminary room S112. - Students will write an assay on the thema: Genes and my disertation. The recherche results will be discussed during the exam.
