- The course is only offered to the students of the study fields the course is directly associated with.
- fields of study / plans the course is directly associated with
- Laboratory Assistant (programme LF, B-SZ)
- Course objectives
- At the end of the course the student should be provided with a thorough overview of current knowledge in molecular and cell biology: storage and expression of genetic information, cell structure and function including cellular interactions and development;
he will be able to understand molecular mechanism of cell diferentiation and cell division including its disorders;
on the base of the acquired knowledge he can understand molecular and cell basis of some severe human pathologies and this would motivate him to understand the approaches to diagnostic techniques;
to interpret new findings from biomedicine;
to interpret pseudoscientific information related to medicine - Syllabus
