Prerequisite for the state exam in internal medicine   is   examination of Clinical Examination in Internal Medicine, completing practical tuition blocks 1-6, and successful completion of all tests in 5th   year and completing 7-week practice before of graduation.

The student successfully complete of the State rigorous exam.
Syllabus
  • The exam consists of a practical part, when the student fully examines the patient, writes a medical record, which includes a diagnostic assessment with a proposal to schedule further diagnostic andtherapeutic procedure. In the oral part the student draws one question. The exam takes the form of a dialogue between the student and the members of the Commission. The issue is dealt with comprehensively, including Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathophysiology of the concerned issues,biochemical and other laboratory tests are analyzed, followed by a proposal of the diagnostic and therapeutic options for various pathologies . The socio-economic factors arediscussed as well as the impact on the patient and the health care system. The importance of empathy in a relationship to the patient is emphasized. Upon successful completion of the SSA from Internal medicine, the student is able to examine the patient with internal diseases, determine the working diagnosis with diagnostic-therapeutic procedure. The exam consists of a practical part, where the student fully examines the patient, writes a medical record, which includes a diagnostic assessment with a proposal to schedule further diagnostic and therapeutic procedure. In the theoretical part draws the student one question. The test takes the form of a dialogue between the student and the members of the Commission. The issue is dealt with comprehensively, including Anatomy, Physiology, and pathophysiology of the concerned issues, are analyzed biochemical and other laboratory tests, and on the basis of a proposal from the diagnostic and therapeutic options for various pathologies. The socio-economic relationships are discussed and the impact on the patient and the health care system. It is also the emphasis on empathetic relation to the sick man. Upon successful completion of the State rigorous examinations from internal medicine, the student is able to investigate the patient with internal diseases, determine the working diagnosis with diagnostic-therapeutic procedure.
