Course objectives
The aim of the course is mastering the basics of teaching curriculum analysis, basic skills in designing lessons for the preparation of educational programs, especially in the professional component of teaching. Preparing students for listening sessions in practical education (vocational training) in schools - to analyze the situation in the class (group) and work with preparation for teaching unit. At the end of the course students will be able to set specific learning goals in his field, didactic analysis of the curriculum and determine the content of teaching practical lessons. Furthermore then be able to apply teaching methods, forms and means of teaching practical subjects and develop specific written preparation for teaching in various forms.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will be able to determine the specific educational objectives of his / her field of study, to make a didactic analysis of the subject and to determine the content of teaching practical lessons. Furthermore, he will be able to apply the teaching methods, forms and means for teaching practical lessons and to prepare a specific written preparation for teaching in various forms.
Syllabus
  • 1. Introduction to the process of teaching practical lessons. 2. Formulation of long-term and short-term goals of teaching in the practical teaching according to the degree of generality, education levels and content focus. 3. Determination of the teaching of practical training. 4. Didactic analysis of curriculum of practical training in selected topics. 5. Selection and application of teaching methods of practical teaching. 6. Choice and application of organizational forms in the teaching of practical teaching. 7. Choice of material and application of teaching resources in the teaching of practical teaching. 8. Specifics evaluation of students in teaching of practical teaching, Slate and control work. Specific applications. 9. Project teaching practical instruction, including preparation for teaching unit. 10. Inspection in the teaching of practical teaching. 11. methodical analysis of selected topics in the teaching of practical teaching. Examples and applications. 12. Summary, repetition, discussion.
