- Course objectives
- The Aim of Tuition: The general acquaintation with political geography and spatial aspects of complex of developmental relationship of natural, demographic and social spheres with political sphere. The consecutive survey and interactive analysis of contemporary global and regional problems of society and forms of theirs didactics transformation in a tuition. In this framework to develop the ability of running evaluation of the position of Czech republic in the processes of its integration into international structures in the newly constituting world geopolitical situation.
- Syllabus
- The Fundamental Themes of Lectures:
- 1. Political geography as scientific discipline, geopolitics.
- 2) The spatial aspects of the rise and development of political sphere.
- 3) The developmental relationship of natural, demographic and social spheres with political sphere.
- 4) The politically geographical aspects of the state and others selected phenomena of politic sphere.
- 5) The survay of geopolitical situation and tendencies of contemporary world.
- 6) The geopolitical asepcts of contemporary global problems - demosphere.
- 7)The geopolitical asepcts of contemporary global problems - socially economic sphere.
- 8)The geopolitical asepcts of contemporary global problems - decison and cultural sphere.
- 9) The geopolitical asepcts of contemporary regional problems - politically geographic reginonalization.
- 10) The geopolitical asepcts of contemporary regional problems - Europe and the succesive states of the Soviet Union
- 11) The geopolitical asepcts of contemporary regional problems - Asia, Africa.
- 12) The geopolitical asepcts of contemporary regional problems - America, Austrália, Antarctic, Ocean.

- 14) The political geography of Czech rupublic, the development of geopolitical position
