Course objectives
At the end of tuition students can identify phrasal idioms in texts and classify them according to significant features. Students are capable of recognizing connotative meanings of phrasal idioms and modify texts stylistically adequate with appropriate phraseological units.
Syllabus
  • main features of phraseologisms – idiomacy and relative stability classification of phraseologisms phraseolexemes a) features of phraseolexemes b) description of phraseolexemes in the dictionary literature c) other possibilities of phraseolexemes division d) membership of verbal semantic phraseolexemes to the word fields e) complex description of semantic microstructure of verbal phraseolexemes connotative meanings of phrasems structural and meaning concord of phraseological units of German and Czech use of phrasems in pedagogical practice practice of chosen phraseologisms
