Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to:
characterize the position of Natural History in the FEP curriculum;
incorporate a specific hour of Natural History in the FEP;
characterize the different forms and methods of teaching;
justify the use of methods, forms of teaching;
formulate learning objectives for a particular hour of natural history ;
didactically analyze curriculum;
plan to build a thematic curriculum of Natural History;
create a worksheet;
Syllabus
  • 1st Work with scientific literature (textbooks, atlases, keys, professional publications)
  • 2nd Working with the Framework Educational Programme.
  • 3rd Taxonomy of educational objectives and their formulation for a specific hour of Natural History.
  • 4th Creation of an annual thematic curriculum plan for a particular class of primary school.
  • 5th Creation of conceptual maps.
  • 6th Working with worksheet and workbook - establishment of the worksheet.
  • 7th Activation methods - design for use in a particular class of natural history.
  • 8th Observations of nature selected live - mikrovýstupy students.
  • 9th Workshop ideas (after teaching practice, 1) - comparing the experience of teaching practice  .

to give over 1 st part of "Prescription collector of new teacher". The "Prescription" consists of materials created by them:
1) Natural curriculum and its position in the FEP
2) thematic schedule
3) educational objectives formulated for an hour of Natural History
4) conceptual map on specific hours of Natural History
5) The proposal activation method for a particular hour of Natural History
6) Methodological guide for the specific use of nature in the Natural History lessons
7) typology of teaching tasks with examples.
