Course objectives
Besides language exercises that use grammar and lexical structures in various communicative situations, emphasis is given on French in the social and cultural contexts. Teaching the technique of resumé writing on the bases of various texts. Textbook French for Advanced. The knowledge and skills are tested at the end of each lesson. At the end of this course, students should be able to: understand extended speech and lectures, articles and reports concerned with contemporary problems provided that the topic is reasonably familiar; interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity, take an active part in discussion in familiar contexts while accounting for, and sustaining, their views; write an essay or report, passing on information or giving reasons in support of, or against, a particular point of view.
