Course objectives
The aim of the course is to master basic skills acquired in pedagogy and psychology, complementing the theoretical knowledge of vocational subjects. Students will develop core competences of the teacher, which they will apply in teaching practice in schools. They will learn to plan, prepare and conduct lessons in geography.

Why teach geography? - Geographical education or education by geography? - The structure of geographical education – geographical curriculum - Development and usage of different sources for teaching geography - Student and learning in geography - Evaluation of student’s learning and its quality - Methods of teaching of geography - Organizational forms of teaching geography - From geographical curriculum to particular lesson
