Course objectives
Having met the requirements of the course Teaching Practice 3, students will be able to apply current theoretical didactic knowledge in their own teaching. They will be able to evaluate new real-life school situations and look for relevant solutions.
Syllabus
  • Students do their month long teacher training under the supervision of a mentor teacher at a chosen primary school, or in the lower classes of a grammar school. The teacher training represents 20 observations and 10-15 teaching periods including all three parts of the subject. Written lesson plans and lessons themselves are discussed with the mentor teacher. Depending on the conditions, students take part also in further teaching activities of a Czech language teacher.

Type of completion: credit. Credit requirements: a required number of teaching lessons and observations, evaluation report from the mentor teacher, pedagogical diary containing detailed notes taken during observations and student´s own lesson plans (including self-reflective comments) and information about trainee´s further activities carried out during the teacher training.
