Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to: - Incorporate the Environmental Education into existing curricula
- Explain the difference between Ecology and Environmental
- Explain basic ecological concepts (population, community, ecosystem)
- Characterize global environmental problems
- Explain how to dispose of different types of waste

Teaching methods
The Form of teaching: a lesson of base type, individual work
Methods of teaching: Lecture, work with literature.
Assessment methods
Assessments methods: written test, oral debate. Fulfilling requirements: a) basic orientation in environmental issues - verification of knowledge through a test. The test is made ​​up of several types of learning tasks verifying knowledge and skills. It is nescessary to obtain at least 16 points. Students who obtain 11 to 15 points must pass an oral debate. If they obtain 10 points or less, the must repeate the test. The preparation for the written test includes lectures and also self-study.
