Students enroll this object after completed two semesters didactics on one of the science departments (e.g. Didactics of Natural History 1 and 2 in the Department of Biology).

Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to:
explain the difference between the thematic integrated and project-based teaching
propose an integrated teaching;
cooperate in the implementation of teaching with colleagues
Syllabus
  • 1st seminar (common): - Dividing students into groups so that each group was represented by students of biology, physics, chemistry and geography - Presentation of the theme for the preparation integrated thematic education (ITE) - Realization of ITE presentations from previous years, 2 to 7 seminar: preparation ITE by each seminar groups with expert guarantor (disciplinary didactics) 8th seminar (common): presentation realization ITE in front of other students

The Form of teaching: the lesson of base type, laboratory exercise Methods of teaching: explaining, work with literature, observation, experiment, discussion, workshop.
Assessment methods
Assessment methods: The Final (group) project - the thematic integrated education at elementary school. Final score: realization of teaching at elementary school, written seminar work - proposal of thematic integrated education.
